Without a doubt, learning the Russian language has prepared me to work in the competitive business environment along with developing a holistic persona socially and culturally. My ability to interact globally has made me realise that I can interact directly with the producers and fulfill needs to bring an existing solution into my local market. A new language has melted the geographical walls and encouraged me to turn into a global entrepreneur.

For learning a new language, I immersed myself into the foreign culture. I concentrated on their speech and became a patient listener and an empathiser, which has proved to be a boon for my business. I have learned to view things from the viewpoint of my potential and current customers. Understanding the pain points of my customers, how they think, and where they hang out online has broadened my thinking.

Further, I appreciate the importance of building a good network and leveraging it. My language skills have increased the number of people I can communicate with around the world. As mentioned earlier, globalization is allowing us to extend our products, services, and businesses across the world and any contacts we foster internationally will be more beneficial than ever.

CEO’s, executives, and start-up entrepreneurs do everything to train their decision making skills, from meditation to exercise to receiving mentorship. I can add language learning to that treasured list of solutions for better decision making.

Russian exposed me to a whole different world of grammar structures, sentence construction, conversing, and the fundamental roots of the language. And I inevitably compared it with the languages I already know. Perhaps the best thing about learning Russian has been that it has helped me to learn more about myself. Adapting a new language and culture has enhanced my knowledge and appreciation of my origins and upbringing.
