CHAPTER 2:  REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE  I. Related Topics Time Management            Going back to school is a challenge and a need for adjustment for every student. You no longer have time to waste on useless activities because managing your time can severely affect your academic performance and family relationship. Balancing academics with extracurricular activities is really a challenge every student faces, and it makes managing your time effectively a critical skill to learn. Time management is something all students can master with practice and discipline. Keeping your time balance and managed will help students not to forget their school works and lessen their stress.   (www.studentsover30.com )  Family Relationship   Parents thought that students tend to forget their families when they become teenagers. But a student needs a family and the support it offers as much as they did when they were younger. Having a problem or challenges will always be there to students and their families, but things usually improve by late adolescence as students become more mature and thinker. Family relationships will be challenged to stay stronger.             For students, parents and families are a source of care, emotional, and financial support. Families give students practical, financial and material help. And most students still want to spend time with their families, sharing ideas and having fun. It’s normal for students to be moody or seem uncommunicative, but they still need parents and families to be involved in their lives. ( HealthyFamilies BC,2014)   II. Related Studies                              III. Summary/Abstract  This is study is to determine the effects of Students who live far away from their school. To make students aware the factors that will affect to time management, to their families, studies, and to themselves. We will be gathering data by making an interview or survey to all students in University of San Carlos who travels one to two hours from their home going to the university. By gathering these data, we can conclude and identify the different effects of traveling from home to the university within one to two hours.
